Removing wrinkles isn’t the only way to make your face look younger. You might be surprised by the powerful effect that your cheeks have on melting years off of your appearance. This is why Botox Botixue is pleased to offer our customers the revolutionary new cheek filler known as Juvederm Voluma™ XC. Brought to us by the makers of the #1 family of dermal filler products, this injectable gel is the first and only filler of its kind to be approved by the FDA to minimize the effects of aging on your cheeks.
In your youth, your cheeks are supple and chiseled. They are drawn tight across your face, cutting a distinctive profile that tells the world that you are young, vibrant, and healthy. Over time, the cheeks tend to go south. This brings about the sagging, tired look that we associate with old age. Juvederm Voluma™ XC is a simple, natural, nonsurgical solution to this problem. With a quick injection, it instantly adds volume to your cheeks and firms them up to restore your youthful appearance.
Juvederm Voluma™ XC is safe, effective, and long-lasting. It makes use of a substance called hyaluronic acid, derived from a complex sugar that is found naturally in healthy human skin. This is the substance that serves to hydrate your skin, and is slowly lost as you age. The filler restores what you have lost, giving you results that last for as long as two years.* Most patients treated with Juvederm Voluma™ XC see themselves as looking five years younger six months following their treatment, and three years younger at the end of the second year.
Following a cheek filler injection, you will need to minimize strenuous activity and exposure to the sun for twenty-four hours. You can generally expect to resume normal activity a single day after your treatment.
Side effects of this treatment are moderate, and include tenderness, swelling, firmness, small lumps or bumps, bruising, pain, discoloration, and itching on the site of your treatment. If you experience side effects, they will probably last between two and four weeks. The cheek filler has not been tested for patients under thirty-five or over sixty-five, nor has it been tested for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, or patients with particularly thin skin in their cheeks. Its effects on patients with a history of pigmentation disorders or excessive scarring, and such patients may experience additional scars or pigmentation changes.
