The Risks of Charred Meat

Are you fond of barbeque, or other forms of grilling? Watch out for the black char that develops on your meat. This stuff is not the friend of your skin.

The problem with the black char is that it may contain hydrocarbons, which encourage inflammation. When your skin becomes inflamed, it can break down your collagen. This results in less flexibility and elasticity in your skin, which manifests as lines and wrinkles. Try scraping the charred parts off of your meat, and be sure to clean your grill off when you’re done in order to prevent this char from ending up on your next meal. And, should you start to see lines develop on your face, come to our Tacoma Botox clinic to have them cleared up quickly and easily.
